That's right. NVIDIA does not publish drivers for the 4-series mobile chips online. Be used, in fact, never been to the driving position in one of its chips for laptops. You only find drivers for the GeForce Go 7 Series line, but not Series 4 Series FX Series and 6 are online.

To obtain the latest drivers for your card, you must have your computer manufacturer (HP, Compaq,) et al for the drivers. NVIDIA is not available for download and never has and never will.

I know it's embarrassing, but the normal Geforce driver for GeForce Go 4 not work either. Just do what you have said, and you should be able to find one. It does not mean that it will find an updated version, but only until it is incorporated.

Locate the graphics card on nvidia.com Support and downloads and save information on the web, as you say, it was a tab that says go with the graphics and the notebook then that NVIDIA GeForce4 440go then get latest drivers for these. uninstall the old one (a conductive properties of the system hardware in Device Manager appears), then see where you can uninstall. You need your computer, click No to install the thing at first, you then start to go where you saved the update of the video card and follow the onscreen controls when you're done, then it is done I think! If we feel that does not work. It worked for me when I tried to play the sims 2 on my laptop and then everything works!

Click on the icon "My Computer" properties, desktopand click. Manager now, click on the "hardware", then click on "Design" at the bottom of the list until you see the legacy of the drivers with the right mouse button and click on "Update Driver". Find and install the Microsoft automaticlly. Good luck. Mikie.
